someone from the Fido winback team promised me a deal for two years. After a year, fido increased my plan by $5 a month.
i spoke to a Fido rep, after an hour on the phone they gave me a special deal and are adding a $5 bill credit for the next 6 months. So I'm getting special treatment in getting what was promised to me for 24 months, for only 18 months.
That's the best they can do. It's not about the $5, it's about promising something and then breaking that promise with some fine print on page 3/7 of my bill.
I'm planning to change carriers, and when the Fido winback team calls me in a few months with some promised offer, how can I believe what they're saying?
I'm just a bit peeved because I left a good deal on another carrier that I can't get back.
