Why and I getting calls from businesses I don’t want contacting me asking for me by name? There is only no one explanation for this and it’s not that my privacy matters.

Hello Daniel34,

  Welcome to the community!

I highly doubt Fido sells any information regarding their customers. It would go against their Privacy Policy.

To which businesses do you refer? Are they businesses you've had dealings with in the past? Have you signed up for any contests or promotions?

Have you registered your phone number on the National Do Not Call List? Even if you already have, you should note that there are certain exemptions, here.

Hope this helps 😀

Cheers

What would make you ‘highly doubt this’? We’re you around in 2013? Conglomerates and government lie all the time, a privacy policy means nothing.

I have given my phone number to 5 or 6 people tops, that’s it.

Hey @Daniel34

I can assure you that we do not sell our customers' personal information.Your best option to avoir receiving unwanted marketing calls would be to register to the National Do Not Call List, as Cawtau suggested.
