I'm writing to share a bit of a frustrating experience I've had with the Fido Referral Program. Back in September 2022, I joined Fido and was told that I could get a free month of service for each friend I referred. I was pretty excited about this, so I referred five friends, the max allowed. I was happy to see that all my referrals were approved.
The thing is, I've only gotten two free months instead of the five I was promised. I've reached out to Fido customer service through Instagram and phone, but they've all told me to contact the Referral team via email. I've emailed the Referral team a bunch of times, but I haven't heard back from them. I've even followed up a few times, but I've just gotten generic responses saying that my case is being looked into.
It's been almost nine months since I first contacted the Referral team, and my most recent referral friend got their free month months ago. This makes me wonder if the Referral Program is legit or not. It seems like Fido is using this program to get new customers but not actually giving them the rewards they promised.
I'm asking Fido to please look into this and give me the free months I'm owed. I also think Fido should take a closer look at the Referral Program to make sure everyone is getting what they were promised.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us here on the Community. I went over the details of that offer, and I can confirm that you can get 1 month free, with up to 5 months free per calendar year while the offer is available in market.

Thank you for your reply, I have already talked to the customer services many times and when I mentioned the referral program, the customer service team didn't help me and asked me to talk to referral team. The result is I always get their generic reply. I just want to know when will the 1 month free effective. They always reply the 1 month free will be applied few months later. But it is already over half year waiting. Can you please give me the exact months when will it apply?

If eligible https://fido.sparkrefer.com/?bp_p=/iaf/fido_raf1/terms&locale=en&slug=fido_raf1, Once a referral has been verified (which takes approximately 30 days) the reward will be authorized. Depending on when the referral process is completed, both referrer and referee should receive the first reward out of five within 2 to 3 billing cycles.

I was keeping receiving the same response in each inquiry. And each time I reply with a photo showing that I got 5 verified rewarded referral. Obviously it was already more than 3 billing cycles since the last verified reward. I have checked with the last referred friend and he already got his reward long time ago. Can you give me the exact date when will I receive the remaining 3 free months?

Thank you for providing all the details. If your referrals were in December and May, you should have already received all of your rewards.
I understand that you already got in touch with our referral team, is that correct? They told you that the case was being looked into, but did you get any more updates after that?
