Back in November 2019 I was travelling for work. I ran out of data, so I did a $20 top up. I immediately cancelled it so it would be a one month top up. I received a message saying that they received my cancel text. HOWEVER I missed the part where you had to resend the cancel text. I never check my bill, so that is on me, but FIDO has been charging me ever since. This is totally unacceptable. I am trying to reach a human, but I have now received a call back, but was placed on hold 1 hour and 15 min so far... I want my money back I am sick of underhanded thieving companies like FIDO.

I am sorry to see you had this kind of experience. If the data monthly add-ons are not cancelled directly through the self-serve such as replying to the text, then they do continue being billed until they're cancelled.
