Today (Dec 10) at 7:20pm, I was speaking with a customer service agent named Ali.
He was unable to help me, so I asked to be transfered to a higher level agent. He then proceeded to tell me he was a higher level agent. So, I kindly asked to speak to a manager, just to see if I can get some more help. He told me he could not do this and refused to let me talk to anyone else. I have seen many recent discussions regarding similar situations (where agents will refuse to let you speak with anyone else).
I have been a long time customer of Fido, and my family Members are also long time customers. This is not the type of customer service expected. These types of agents should have their conversations and performances reviewed. I no longer refer my friends and family to fido because the customer service is atrocious. Not all agents are bad, but there are an increasing amount of horrible agents.
How do I ensure agents like these are reviewed and complaints are heard?
I ended up calling back, got a different agent who told me she couldn't help, but kindly offered to transfer me to a manager. This second agent was much more polite.
