I have recently signed up for 2 year contract with FIDO on Samsung S9 with $0 down. It looks like great offer when you look at $0.00
I checked on Fido.ca, my account section and shows me that device was subsidized for $1019.00 + taxes as the device was selling and is selling at $799+ taxes on samsung canada or even local retailers.
What do you think FIDO would over price device subsidy by 22% of acual value of the device?

Hey @ssoni!
We want our customers to get the devices they want at great prices. From time to time, depending on unique arrangements with each supplier for each device, our pricing could be different from what is available directly through the manufacturer.
Keep in mind that getting the phone through us allows you to get the phone subsidized so you can pay a lower up-front cost.
Hope this helps!

Of course, lower upfront cost by spreading over-charge of the device to 24 months so consumers do not notice them.

That's definitely not our goal @ssoni
The total subsidy is always listed on your agreement as well.
If you keep the agreement for 24 months, no charges are applicable for the phone.
