Hello, I'm on prepaid and recently just ported my Alberta number (403) from my previous Ontario number (437) and noticed a $35 number change charge in my transaction.
I tried porting online but the port got stuck and had to call customer service to fix the problem.

A charge shouldn't be applicable if the change was for a new area code. Normally it would be waived within 2 business days; are you still seeing the charge?
I have just checked my account transaction and it is still there. I'm not sure whether I would receive a bill in a month or two asking me to pay $35. Perhaps the $35 charge was stated in the transaction to allow for the port to go through.
