Changing providers, balance transfer

Hi, 

If I change providers and have a balance for the cost of the phone that gets added to the monthly fee (+$33), will that also transfer automatically to the new provider? Or would I have to pay the remaining cost of the phone in full?

  Welcome to the community!

  If you have a balance owing on your device and you switch providers, you will be required to pay the remaining balance on your device. The monthly device fee will not transfer between providers. The remaining balance will be charged to your account.
