Cannot setup Visual Voicemail

I have tried to set up my visual voicemail many times and it will not work, I am only sent a text when a new voicemail is received. I have tried pressing 1 but then there is no option for visual voicemail..someone please help with this.

Hello Kmunroe,

 

  Welcome to the community!

 

  What plan do you have? Did you also get the Premium voicemail add-on or value pack (iPhone value pack) with your plan? Most current plans only include the regular voicemail (up to 3 messages, each 3 minutes in length that can be saved up to 3 days; see full details here). The regular voicemail notifies you via SMS.

 

  If you do not have the iPhone value pack or premium voicemail, you will have to add it to avail of iPhone's visual voicemail.
