Cancel Account

hi ! I tried calling customer services to cancel my account however apparently I have to present myself at a fido location, which is not possible since I am out of the country. Is it possible to still cancel the account since I am no longer using the services ? I have being told that I could cancel it by chat services.

@Camila3 according to Fido support to cancel a line can only be done over the phone taken from here.

Most likely that agent did not want to have a cancel account against him/her.
