  1. Does Fido allow you to upgrade your device for free before the time your contract ends? When I was with Virgin you could upgrade your phone for free about 3 months before the actual contract end date, hoping it’s the same or something similar here.

I know years ago Fido used to allow you to upgrade for free a few months before your contract ends

Since the rules changed and carriers can no longer keep us in a 3 years contract in order to upgrade you will have to pay off the remainder of what is owed on your current phone before you can upgrade.
