I just got my first bill after activating a sim card on the 15th and I noticed a charge for spotify. I have the app on my phone but i pay directly through spotify so I dont know why I would have been charged for it. It is a pulse plan as well

That's odd! Did you check when was the last you got charged directly from Spotify? Is it possible that the Fido billing has taken over since you registered with us?

If you go to spotify.com and click on subscription, you'll see if your account is already associated to Fido.
