I just ordered a new Samsung s24 fe, and now the payment program promotion amount is an extra 6.84 per month off. However, I called an agent and they said that because I selected the down payment option, I can't get the new discount. I could return the device, but I already set it up and don't want to have to go through that again.

That said, Fido does offer their Satisfaction Guarantee. I understand you do not wish to set-up an new device. However, a condition of that guarantee requires returning the device.
I also understand you may have already spoken with a customer service representative. If you wished to discuss your options, you would have to contact customer service again. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above.
