well, it was solved by remove and reinstall the SIM card...

We have an iPhone 8 with the same problem.
If reinstalling the SIM card means taking it out and putting the same card back in, it does not work

The solution might have worked for them, but it doesn't necessarily mean it works for everyone.

My apologies - the solution worked for someone else but not for me
Yes - iPhone 8 purchased directly from Fido 2 weeks ago.
The message indicates that it needs to be set up on our account.
Am I taking that too literally?
I have a Galaxy 8+ and had no problem enabling WiFi Calling.
It's on the same account as the iPhone but a different number
