I have changed from fido to another provider and the bill from fido was carried forward for that month to the new bill from the other provider and I paid that. After that today I got another bill from fido today. I don't know why I got billed after moving and paying the amount I owed to fido.

  To which provider did you switch? Generally the bills do not carry over to another provider. Each provider would have their own billing system which would need to be settled. That said, you should note these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts.
