BACK TO SCHOOL DEAL seemed like a good idea for me as a college-bound student, so I wondered if I could keep my old number (8GB and $55/MO) and switch to this plan.

You can always keep your number when changing plans unless you are moving out of the province and changing to a plan in another province. You can also try doing the plan change online and save the fee if you are unable to make the change or if the plan is not available to you then you can contact customer service and they can better assist you.

Hi there @Sarawen you can call into Fido support to ask that question, or you could try to change your plan online to the back to school plan to see if you qualify. Here are the ways to reach out to customer service to find out if you qualify. I hope you are able to do that.
