Hi, I've had a new Fido plan for over a week now. This is a "bring your own phone 40 gig plan" The new phone number works to make and receive calls. However, none of the provided methods to activate my voicemail are working and when I try to enter my 10 digit phone number the message I get is "this number is not active". After a couple hours on hold waiting yesterday, the "customer care" operator could not explain why my voicemail was not working yet other than "maybe" it wasn't in the system yet and to wait more. Just wondering if any other new customers are having this problem or if they did and how long it took for fido to resolve the issue ie. enter them into the system. Btw no idea how the new number works on my phone if it's not already "in the system". If anyone has any suggestions I would really appreciate your advice.
