So this is the second (first was main device, Samsung Galaxy S24FE, I upgraded to, then now the replacement phone, iPhone 15) phone to drop calls. I don't know why! Why are the phones I get have the same problem, dropping calls?  All i want is a phone that doesn't drop calls..

Hello Yelah,

Sorry to hear your issue persists. I understand you appear to be having the same issue with a different phone. To clarify, had you had this issue with any other previous phones? Are you experiencing the same issue everywhere or is it isolated to certain locations? The nature of cellular service is that it is dependent on being able to receive adequate signal from the cellular towers. Adequate signal would depend, in part, on your location relative to the cellular towers. You can get an idea of your surrounding cellular towers here.  In addition to your proximity to the cellular towers, there are also many factors that can affect cellular reception (see here and here). That's why no mobile provider can guarantee service. There are just too many factors beyond their control.

It should also be noted that calls cannot be transferred between network providers seemlessly. If, for some reason, your phone switches from Fido/Rogers to extended coverage (or vice versa), calls will necessarily disconnect.

Since your issue appears to happen with different devices, is it possible your location or situation might not be ideal for Fido/Rogers service?

Have you tried to use Wifi-calling to for calls? If the cellular signal at your location is not adequate for sustained calls, Wifi-calling may help your situation.

You should note that these forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we be in any position to identify possible issues with your line. You would need to contact customer service for assistance with your matter. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above.

Hope this helps 😀

Cheers
