And I would like to ask you what are they about? 

Is it for maintaining my number during the cancellation period?

But when the staff asks me whether I want to keep my number when I come back later. If yes, it won't cost any.

I'm confused right now.

Welcome to the Fido community!

If you cancel your lines youwill lose your numbers, base on the line you provided and without know more it appers the credit is for airtime. 

If you do not know what is happening it would be best to contact customer support so they can look at the accountand explain what is happening.
