611 vs *611

Is calling 611 and *611 the same from my FIDO Sim? I tried both and both of them are directing to the same recorded messages.

Just curious as I dialled 611 and it reached their customer centre whereas in their website it's written *611 to be dialled.

Hi @banerjeesanlap6 , when calling from your device 611 and *611 are the same. They are interchangeable. When calling 611 from a landline, it goes to your landline provider.
