I had my Fido internet hooked up yesterday. A technician had to come to the house to set everything up (from outside, due to COVID-19). He told me that a modem is usually good for 1.5 to 2 years. The modem I received from Fido looks like it's been dragged down the street behind a truck, and I'm concerned that it's going to give me problems. Does anyone else have any experience with this - receiving a used/beaten-up modem?
Hey @Lornafiona,
Welcome to our Community!
Can you elaborate a little in what kind of condition the modem is in exactly? You can also attach a picture if possible.
Is the modem currently working?
