Need Authorization to Swap Modem

Cannot get through to tech support, 15min, 20 min, 10min, 15min of listening to elevator music ....  why can't I just just swap modems at the store??????????? Why are we still talking about this in 2020??????????? What companies still do this to people???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

 

Hitron CGN3 modem randomly drops connection 5-6 times a day went through all help steps posted on this form it does not solve the problem.
