I would like to cancel my home internet, simply for the first month it was not connected and I believed it was. and it turned it was not. Secondly your the net speed done from your site is 1/10 o f the plan I opteed for. Thirdly, trying to talk to someone to rectify the situation is nothing but a nighmare.
Second question, can I just return the equipment and presume the line will be cancelled

Cancellation can only be done by a Fido representative, you will need to contact customer support, and they will process the cancellation and send you a return label so you can ship the modem back.
