Data Maximum - new to cell phones - i am getting a notice from Fido that 75% of my data is used up - what does this mean?

What does it mean when I get a notice from Fido saying 75% of my data is used up - what will happen and how do I fix it? An new to cell phone usuage.

That notice is to inform you that you have used 75% of your monthly allotted data for example if you have 10 GB monthly data it would mean you used 7.5 GB and you have 2.5 GB remaining until your cycle resets, If you use all your data will stop working until the cycle resets, if you require more data you can choose to purchase an add-on but you will need to do that before you run out of data or you can consider changing your plan that has more data.
