Hey Community,

 

We’re all about giving you the tools that make it easier to do business with us. That’s why we’re excited to announce that you can now do even more on Fido.ca; upgrade your device and change your monthly plan!

 

Just log in to your account on Fido.ca and follow these easy steps. 

 

HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR PHONE

Scroll down a bit and you’ll see an option to change your plan and another one to upgrade your device:

Let’s pretend we’re doing an upgrade. Here’s what you’ll see:

On this step, you can either choose to keep your existing plan or select a new one. We’ll keep our current plan for this example.

Now you can add or remove your add-ons. When you’re done, click Continue on the bottom right.

Now it’s time to let us know where you want it delivered. You can have the device sent to your billing address or an alternate address.

Next, you'll see a summary of your order. Read it over carefully. Smiley  Everything looks good? Click on Complete Order. Next, you’ll see the Payment info page and then a final confirmation page.

 

 

 

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR PLAN

 

Here are the steps to follow if you’re just looking to change your plan without upgrading your device. On the My Account page, click Change Plan:

Next, choose your new plan.

Next, you’ll be able to manage your add-ons or add new ones. When you’re done, click Check Out on the bottom right.

Fido contacted me and finaly(!) changed the plan.

And just to be clear, the base plan for the +5gb promo ($60/5gb) has never shown up for me as an option in the Change Plan section documented above.  I checked and re-checked multiple times 18th, 19th and today (though I assume it would be gone today).

Hi my friends,

 

I wanted to go for the iPhone SE for a moment now, I've been told it was 100$ with my current plan and since we don't pay any service when we upgrade our phone online, I tried this option. The phone is no longer available online, just in store (!) so I will have to pay 25$ in store and now the phone is 200$! Can Fido do anything about that?

 

I was wondering if any of you in the community have an iPhone SE to sell or exchange if I get an android or any other phone. Thanks

The phone is indeed available in stores only as of now. The phone is available starting at $0 though the actual price depends on your plan. 

 

You can check with your local store to see which promos you're eligible for. Hope that helps Smiley

trying to switch from BYOD $40 1GB to BYOD $45 2GB - no option there... how to I get this plan online - and don't want to pay a $25 transaction fee for going in store....

yeah - still need help. getting too old for this facebook and twitter stuff. cool with following, but messaging directly is not something i do yet - esp. facebook that's just evil. please  'PM' me. or even email if you crazy kids remember how to do that nowadays.
