iPhone and Kakaotalk Issue with Rogers/Fido Network

There  is an ongoing issue with KakaoTalk for those using iPhones on Rogers/Fido network. (Android phones have no issue). T-Mobile users in the US have reported the same issue. In Canada, Telus and Bell appear to be unaffected.

I've been chatting back-and-forth with Fido support this evening, and seen no evidence that Rogers/Fido is taking this issue seriously. Has anyone else had better luck?

 

I'm about ready to move my 3 lines over to another provider if this issue is not resolved soon.

Sorry to learn you're experiencing difficulties with that specific app. It's the first time we're learning about it. Maybe the @Community would know more about it and can help!

 

When did this start and was the app working on the network before?

Have you tried to reinstall the app?

Same, I have a same problem... so I using Fido-EXT or VPN. but it also make problem both, like 3G connect non Volte phone call and pay for VPN...

If Rogers/Fido do not solve this problem, I will go to other carrier.
