Use two iPhones or an iPad and iPhone as a temporary baby monitor
Have you ever been over to a friend or relative's place and wanted to keep an eye on your little one while you were in another room?
Here's an easy way to turn two iOS compatible devices into a portable baby monitor in 3 short steps:
1. Set both devices onto an existing wifi network at your location. Data consumption on two devices can be hefty to say the least. (sorry Fido, fair disclaimer)
2. Initiate a facetime call from either device and set the transmitting device to point at your little one using the rear facing camera. After all, you don't want the bright screen to keep him/her up. (A small stand is useful here)
3. Use the receiving device as your monitor screen.
And voila, you have a baby monitor! Great for those times when you're in your friend's hot tub and want to keep an eye/ear on sleeping beauty.
Consider plugging either device into a power source to ensure that a battery drain doesn't cause a disruption
