Your phone has a smart security function, meaning if your phone is locked, instead of having it locked everytime you close your phone, you can enable "Smart Lock". There are many features in "Smart Lock", including but not limited to, the option to stay unlocked while the phone is on you, or to stay unlocked if a "Trusted Device" (ex. Moto 360 Smart Watch) is tethered to the phone. This will save you time and will make checking your phone a lot more time effecient.
