unlimited social networking on bb curve

I have fido's unlimited social networking for my blackberry curve. does this mean I can use ANY Twitter application (not just the official one) to access twitter for free?

The Unlimited Social Networking & Instant Messaging for BlackBerry add-on includes unlimited Instant Messaging (including Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk and BlackBerry Messenger) and Unlimited Social Networking (FacebookTM, Twitter and MySpace applications) with a BlackBerry smartphone on the Fido network.

Only the official Twitter application will be included (unless you're connected to the Internet through Wi-Fi).
