nexus 4 calling and data issue

I've recently purchased a nexus 4 and lately every time I try to make a call, it doesn't do anything for like 5-10 seconds and then it hangs up without ringing or anything. And my data never works either. Sometimes when my data is on, the bars will just stay grey and I can't do anything with it or sometimes it will go blue and then it does say that whatever I'm doing is loading but it never does load. Even when I have full service.

Have you taken any steps in resolving your issue yet?  like a reboot or settings reset?
