long distance texts not going through

Woke up this morning and normally when I send a text, seconds later there's a check mark beside it indicating that the text went through. Wasn't the case this morning. Mind you that last month I was able to text this person in Quebec perfectly fine so I don't really understand what's going on.

I have an xperia x10i if anyone was wondering.

Are you still experiencing this issue or was it temporary?

Are you only having this problem with one specific number in Quebec, or with other numbers as well? 

Also, please include the steps you have taken in an attempt to resolve the issue (Bat. Pull, Reboot, Reset, so on)
