The 14 Pro Max is obviously the better phone. Longer battery life, better overall performance, better screen, dynamic island, much more versatile camera setup. I can't say if those things are important enough to you, to justify the price difference. That's something you have to decide. You haven't provided any information on your needs/wants from a phone.
