downloading ringtones & data pass add ons for smartphones

I have a blackberry curve and have the Cityfido plan which has no data plan - is there anyway that I can download my old ringtone or do I have to get a addon data plan?  What is the data pass (day & weekly) - would that enable me download what I need without having a monthly addon data plan? I am a newbie to the whole blackberry world and would greatly appriciate any help - I just want my old ringtone back.....

you can bluetooth it from your old device to the new opne, providing there is no DRM on the old file, or you can go scour the net for the ringtone, and put it on your blackberry curve either by bluetooth or put it on the memory card then your phone can see it.
