does this phone work with fido pay as u go?

my current phone broke....
was planning to get this off ebay:
unlocked motorola razr 2 v8 gsm phone. it states it will work with gsm carriers. not a tech guy by any means.... my only concern is whether it works with my pay as u go plan as it states it is a quadband gsm phone capatible with 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies and gprs/edge capabilities.

does this phone work with fido?

Although this thread is a bit old, I'd like to update it since I came across it. To be able to fully use an unlocked device on our network, you will also need to input our settings in it. Please click here to have all the information on how to setup your phone.

Based on what you have written, the phone is compatible with our network frequencies. So, as long as the phone is SIM unlocked, it should work just fine.

What frequencies does your Windows 8 operate on?

We don't have Windows specific plans, however if the phone is compatible with our network and SIM unlocked, you can use most of our services.
