bought the acer liquid e three days ago and not recieving text messages

Has anyone had this problem ive contacted customer support and technical support and both did nothing ive set my phone to factory setting and that didnt do anything. Does anyone know how to fix this problem because its not to fun having a phone yet you cant use it!  Anyone have any tips?

Hello lakersgoal,

 

Here is some troubleshooting I can suggest:

 

- Do you have enough bars to place a call?

- If you are with prepaid, do you have more than $0 in your account?

- Are the messages you receive saved in the SIM card's memory or in the phone's memory? If they are saved in the SIM, the SIM's memory could be full which may be why you do not receive any message.

- Are the outgoing text messages blocked in your account? If you are unsure, you can contact customer service.

 

If everything is fine already, then, I would have to refer you to our technical support team which can be reached at 1-888-481-FIDO(3436).
