Here's how it works:
We would need to generate the unlock code for you on our end.
If you're eligible for it, you'll be charged $50 on your Fido account. Then just follow these steps to complete the unlocking:

Install the Drive Installer software (TRU-Install) that comes with the AirCard.
- After the installation the AirCard drivers will be installed on the computer and the AirCard will be recognized by the operating system.
- If it was already installed, skip this step.
- Make sure the device is not connected to the computer.
- Remove the Fido SIM card from the Sierra Wireless AirCard and insert the foreign SIM.
- Connect the device to the computer using the USB cable.
- Enter the unlock code (MEP code) when prompted.

When the device has been unlocked, you will need to create a connection profile for the new provider.
- Contact the new provider for instructions.
