hi there, Is it possible a addtl phone number for my wife with addtl free phone with same billing? thanks

  Welcome to the community!

 

  Firstly, you should note the forums are community-driven and not intended as a venue for customer services. We do not have access to customers' accounts nor would we access to all available promotions.

 

  That said, what do you mean by free phone and same billing? Unfortunately, I don't think any provider will provide free phone on a second line. However, they may offer some devices with $0 upfront and $0 monthly after bill credit. With many of the device offers, Fido does not actually discount the cost of the device. Rather, they provide a monthly credit to off-set the device cost. That monthly credit is applied to the bill and not device financing cost. In some cases, that monthly credit might equal the monthly financing charge.

 

  It would be important to note that the monthy financing fee does not actually change, though. If you choose to end the contract early, you would still be required to pay the total remaining balance of the device. That is, the remaining balance would be $ x remaining number of months, not $-credit x remaining number of months as the remaining monthly credits would no longer apply. So while customers might end up not paying anything for the device with those particular offers, they are techically not free.

 

 You can can likely add a second line to your account. However, that line would have its own plan and cost. It would not be included with your current billing. You can view the second line options via your My Account.

 

  On the other hand, if you refer a second line with the same plan as your current plan, it would depend on whether your plan is currently in-market. If your plan is no longer available, you would not be able to get the same plan for another line. That said, many additional line offers available through your My Account often include discounts or promotions only applicable to the addition of another line.

 

  If you would like to discuss your options for a second line, you would need to contact customer service. In addition, they can also be contacted via Live Chat, Facebook, or Twitter. Those methods can be accessed via the contact page posted above. Though, it should be noted that adding a line with customer assistance would likely incur a set-up fee for that new line.
