Xiaomi 14 Chinese version no signal in Canada

I have a Xiaomi 14 that I bought in China with Xiaomi hyperOS, 512+16GB, Android 14.
I have checked this website that it does not have all the band https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/CA/xiaomi-14.
However, is there anyway I can enable 5G in my xiaomi 14?
Is there any APN setup that can improve my signal?
It is getting no signal or only 2G in some area in Toronto.

  Sorry to hear you're having reception issues with your device. Firstly, you should note that Fido does not currently offer 5G services (see here). According to the specifications provided, that device does seem to have some compatilble bands/frequencies. You can verify the compatible bands/frequencies here. Of note, neither of those versions appear to have the bands/frequency better capable of penetrating into buildings etc (Band 12 or 700MHz) (see graphic here). While the phone should work on the networks, coverage would depend, in part, on the bands/frequencies available at your surrounding cellular towers. You can get an idea of your area cellular towers here.

  Have you verified the device is using the proper APN settings? You can view those settings here. Since the device is LTE-capable, it should be using LTEMOBILE.APN.
