Voicemail after change of plan

My plan was changed today.  The icon for voicemail on my iphone is now showing a plain red dot. How do I access voicemail messages or to check if there is any voicemail? My visual voicemail has been replaced under the new plan with "mini voicemail".

Since you changed your plan and now only have mini voicemail you might have to setup your voicemail again press and hold one and you should get instructions just follow the prompts.

You will most likely need to get the visual voicemail add-on if you require that.
