Unregistered SIM Card

Getting error with new phone and simple card. Phone has message that not registered sim. Any help

hi

your message means that your simcard is not activated (either new card or used card), i suggest goto Fido store and get simcard from them, they can activate it very quickly. should be free sim card if you are existing customer.

My phone has been working for months and it now, suddenly, shows unregistered SIM.

I see! Have you tried restarting the phone? Does this happens when inserting the SIM card in another compatible phone?

Hello @Zuber1,

Did you get the phone and SIM from a store or was it mailed to you?

If it was mailed to you then you will need to register the new SIM card in order for it to work.
