Transferring a SIM card to a new tablet

When buying a new tablet, can I simply transfer my old tablet's SIM card to the new one and expect it to work seamlessly with my existing Fido plan?

Hi @rdschauer , if your existing sim card is valid then it should work right away. I'm assuming it's both fido tablet plans.

I want to keep my existing Fido plan but get a new tablet from somewhere else. Would the new non-Fido tablet work with the SIM card of the old Fido tablet?

As long as the new tablet has the required bands/frequencies it should work, see here for the requirements.
