Hi,
My 24 month contract ends in 3 days and I want to switch to another provider. How do I switch over and keep my phone number at the same time? How do I cancel my plan with Fido? Please help.

Welcome to the community!
In order to switch your phone number to a different provider, your new provider would need to request the port-out from Fido. It's important that your Fido account and phone number remain active (see here). Once the port is completed, your Fido line would be automatically cancelled.
