Stuck in "powered by Android"

I have a fairly new Axon ZTE - it is suck at "Poweed by Android."  Can you please tell me how I fix this.  Thanks!

You could have a corrupted android system. Try charging it or try connecting it to your computer to see if the computer can read it and try to back it up. The last resort is to do a full wipe.


Turn off your smartphone

Press and hold the "Volume Up" and "Power" buttons at the same time

When the "ZTE" logo appears on-screen, release the keys

Press "Volume down" to navigate to and highlight "wipe data / factory reset"

Press "Power" to select the option

Press "Volume down" to navigate to and highlight "Yes -- delete all user data"

Press the "Power" key and wait for your smartphone to reboot

Thanks Kapable-K.  The problem seemed to occur with the cover on the phone.  As soon as I took the cover off, I could access it again.  I'm going to try the cover again and if it freezes I'll try your method.  I appreciate the help!

@Lindylou maybe the cover was pressing down on a button.
