Stuck in "powered by Android"

I have a fairly new Axon ZTE - it is suck at "Poweed by Android." Can you please tell me how I fix this. Thanks! ***Edited to add labels***

Thanks Kapable-K. The problem seemed to occur with the cover on the phone. As soon as I took the cover off, I could access it again. I'm going to try the cover again and if it freezes I'll try your method. I appreciate the help!
