I have a pay as you go account for my son. Is it true that they will be closing pay as you go in December?

Hey @KLEE Smiley

Did you have any questions in regards to prepaid plans no longer being available?

Hello Opay,

  Welcome to the community!

It is true that Fido will no longer offer pre-paid services after December 16th, 2024:

That said, Fido hasn't offered a truly pay-as-you-go offering for a while now. As far as I am aware, all of their pre-paid offerings were monthly (or yearly) pre-paid options. While there are other pre-paid providers (ie Chatr), there are very few pay-as-you-go offerings available (see here).

Hope this helps 😀

Cheers
