Over 2 months waiting on phone

Good day,

          I placed an order for a phone in November and was assured delivery within 2-5 business days only to still be waiting on it 2 whole months later.


We are basically in mid January now and there is still no sign of the order. I tried repeatedly to chat with a support agent to no avail, I was lucky enough to connect with a customer care specialist who informed me that the phone was backordered but could not provide me any context or estimation on when I could expect my delivery.


I just wanted to know if this is a usual occurrence as I would have liked to know that before ordering a phone from Fido.

I am not talking about the delay. I am talking about canceling the order twice because now they are not in the mood. So that's the concern.

The link you are giving me to talk, takes me to chat, and all the agents are saying that orders have been canceled twice !!!!

I am facing exactly the same. I wish I would have gone to the store and had bought it there.

Ordered online for pickup in the store..never got the email and directly they canceled the order.

Again ordered the phone on 30th Dec 2023, got email day before yesterday 15th Jan 2024 that order has been placed...and now the agent is telling me it's again canceled !!!

 it's a scam! dunno know whom to complain...very bad business !!!

When a device is in high demand, there could be a delay in regard to the stock, especially during the holiday period.


On our end, as soon as the device is shipped, you'll receive a tracking number!
