Nexus S OS upgrading

If you get an Nexus S phone with the current Gingerbread OS will you be able to upgrade the OS to the new Ice Cream Sandwich OS expected later this year. Apparently this OS is a blend of tablet and phone OS's.

On would think that, yes it will get the upgrade. However, all we can do is speculate. The only one that can gice you a straight answer is Google itself.
