Hi there, will you be using it as a back up or on a new number? either way, you should factory reset it with a security wipe and then just pop in your sim (if new) make sure it's a BB plan you use if you want to get data. If it's a back up device, there is a procedure in desktop manager to switch phones and it will take all your information from the first phone and transfer it to the second one.
