Hello Fido0937,

I would suggest to try to update it again using the following instructions:

1. Preparation before OS upgrade
a) Please install LiquidE USB driver at PC side.
b) Please insert a 1GB micro SD card (or larger size) into LiquidE device.

2. Connect acer LiquidE to PC by USB cable. It should have USB connection icon on the status bar.

3. Mount acer LiquidE on a PC & Download update file
a) Pull down the bar, and there is a “USB connected”. Please press it.

b) Press the “Mount” button.

c) In folder “My Computer”, you can see one “Removable Disk” (We'll use "J:" for these instructions).
d) Unzip the OS image file where downloaded from Acer website. There are two file (one file and one zip). Copy them into the root folder of the “Removable Disk” ( J: )

e) Remove the “USB Mass Storage Device” of acer Liquid, and unplug USB cable.

4. Upgrade your acer Liquid E
a) Make sure the battery capacity is over 30%.
b) Power off phone (long pressing power button then select “Power off”).
c) Press and hold camera and volume down buttons. Then press power button.
d) The phone will vibrate 3 times quickly.
e) Battery and Call LED will be always on, Mail LED will be flash. It means that phone is downloading firmware into phone.
f) When OS upgrade is done, phone will reboot automatically then complete the procedure.

I hope this help!

yes but the thing is it doesnt even turn on to do that

Hello Fido0937,

If your phone is no longer working and you cannot "flash" it anymore with a new OS, I would suggest to send your phone in for repair at a Fido store via the Repair and Loaner service.

They will send your handset to Acer who will then be able to fix your phone and send it back to you within 2 weeks. While your phone is away, another one will be lent to you.

Let us know how it goes! Smiley
