LG Neon 2 Texting Issue

I recently got an LG Neon 2 and there is an issue with texting. Whenever I send a text message, it doesn't get sent. When I check the status it will just say waiting, about 10 minutes later it will tell me that it failed to send the message. I've tried sending to several different people but it never works.

Any help?
